How to use A&B American Style Pepper Sauce: Oysters

People have been asking us how to use A&B American Style Pepper Sauce. We think our Pepper Sauce is good on everything, but to date, we’ve given you very little guidance about ways to use it that are truly great.
Our first suggested pairing is the simplest recipe we can think of: Oysters & A&B American Style Pepper Sauce
Oysters are really, really delicious. Everyone knows that. They have a great natural flavor, which makes them a perfect partner for A&B American Style. We find that it’s impossible to eat less than a dozen. No matter where we sit with a platter of oysters, we find ourselves as relaxed as if we were sitting seaside. Served in the shell, we love them raw, grilled, baked, steamed or however you want to give them to us. (We like them fried in a po’ boy too, but that’s another recipe).

To make oysters even better, we add a splash of A&B American Style Pepper Sauce right on there. Our recipe has a fresh, bright and slightly acidic taste that pairs so well with the creaminess of oysters. So adding some of our Pepper Sauce brings a wonderful sweet, tangy kick to the briny deliciousness of the oyster with just the right amount of heat.

Recipe: Oysters and A&B American Style Pepper Sauce
Ingredients: Oysters, A&B American Style Pepper Sauce
  1. Open oysters (optionally cook them a bit before)
  2. Add a splash of A&B American Style Pepper Sauce
  3. Slurp it down
  4. Notice the aromatic flavor of our Pepper Sauce and how it complements the salinity of the oyster
  5. Marvel at the uniqueness of the flavor combination you just enjoyed
  6. Wonder how you lived this long without it

Use A&B American Style to replace your mignonette, your cocktail sauce, your horseradish and, especially, your boring hot sauce and let us know how it goes!
